A study for adults whose blood pressure is NOT well-controlled even though they are already on at least 2 blood pressure medicines (one being a water pill).
You May Qualify If:
- You are 18+ with established heart disease (heart, brain, or leg artery disease)
- You are currently on at least 2 blood pressure medications that include a diuretic “water pill”
- Your blood pressure still isn’t well controlled
What’s Involved?
10-15 study visits at our office in Evansville, IN, over approximately 3-5 years. Compensation is provided for time and travel. Additional compensation for diary completion.
Gout Study (Including Tophaceous Gout) Study

A study of an investigational medication to help reduce painful flare-ups in adults with chronic gout, including those with visible gout deposits (tophi).
You May Qualify If:
- You are 18 and older
- You have been diagnosed with gout
- You have had 2 or more gout flare-ups in the past year.
- Your current gout medication is not fully controlling your symptoms.

Obesity (Diabetic and Non-Diabetic) Study

A study of an investigational medication to assess the safety and efficacy to reduce excess body weight and maintain reduction long term in adults who are overweight.
You May Qualify If:
- You are 18+
- You have a BMI of 27+
- Your BMI is 27-30 and have coexisting conditions
- Your BMI is 30+

Approximately 15 Study visits at our Evansville, IN, office and 2 phone visits. Compensation is provided for time and travel. Elevated LP(a) Study

A study of an investigational medication to help lower the risk of cardiovascular events such as a heart attack or stroke by lowering lipoprotein(a) levels.
You May Qualify If:
- You are 50+
- You have a high level of Lipoprotein(a) – a genetic blood factor checked at screening.
- You have multiple heart disease risk factors (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, currently smoke

Cardiovascular Study

A study of an investigational medication to determine the effectiveness, efficacy, safety, and tolerability of the study medication in participants who have had a heart attack or stroke, or at high risk of a first heart attack or stroke. This medication is an add-on to your standard cholesterol medication.
You May Qualify If:
- You have already had a heart attack or stroke caused by clogged arteries, or leg artery surgery (any age 18+)
- Men 50+, Women 55+ with high LDL cholesterol and at least one of the following:
- Clogged arteries
- High risk diabetes with kidney/eye/nerve damage, or other documented artery disease

Hot Flash/Night Sweats Study

A study to assess the effectiveness, tolerability, and efficacy of an investigational non-hormonal medication to limit the number of hot flashes/night sweats in menopausal women.
You May Qualify If:
- You are 40 to 65 years of age
- You have 7 or more hot flashes/night sweats per day
- You have a BMI between 17.5 and 40.0
- You have greater than 12 months absence of menstrual period, or are surgically sterile.

Quit Smoking Study
Therapeutic Area: Pulmonology

A clinical research study testing whether a combined medicine helps adults quit smoking more safely and effectively than a placebo or standard treatment.
You May Qualify If:
- You are ages 18-25
- You smoke more than 10 cigarettes per day, most days, for the last 12 months
- You have not quit smoking for more than 3 months
- Your BMI is between 18 and 40

You will have 12 clinic visits in our office in Evansville, IN, and 9 phone visits. Compensation provided for time and travel. Additional compensation for diary completion, reaching Visit 15, finish the study visit in its entirety. Uncontrolled Type II Diabetes Study
Therapeutic Area: Endocrinology

A study to test how well two medications work together compared to taking either medication by itself for adults with Type II Diabetes (T2DM) whose blood sugar is not controlled well enough through lifestyle changes alone or with other diabetic medications.
You May Qualify If:
- You are diagnosed with T2DM for at least 90 days prior to screening
- Your T2DM is inadequately managed with lifestyle management alone or on stable treatment with other glucose lowering medication
- Your hemoglobin A1c is greater than or equal to 7% to less than 10.5% (tested in office)
- You have maintained stable body weight for 90 days prior to screening
- You are 18+ years of age

RSV Vaccine Study

A study of an already approved medication designed to protect older adults and high risk individuals from severe lower respiratory tract disease.
You May Qualify If:
- You are 60 years of age and older
- You HAVE NOT had an RSV vaccine previously
- You are relatively healthy and in stable health for the last 6 weeks prior to vaccine.
