COVID-19 Treatment Study
Diagnosed with Covid-19 and want to feel better faster?
If you have been recently diagnosed with COVID-19, you may be interested in the OakTree Study. This clinical research study is testing the effectiveness and safety of an investigational medication for COVID-19 called GS-5245. Researchers want to see if GS-245 can shorten the length of time you have symptoms.
Who can join the study?
To be considered for the study, you must:
- Be 12 to 64 years of age.
- Have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 3 days.
- Have had COVID-19 symptoms for no more than 3 days.
- NOT be at risk for developing serious disease.
- NOT be currently hospitalized or require hospitalization.
What happens during the study?
The study lasts about 90 days with about 9 visits for tests and health checks.
If you qualify, you will be placed by chance into a group to take either a GS-5245 or a placebo tablet by mouth twice a day for 5 days.
Your participation in this study can help advance COVID-19 research to find more safe and effective treatments. Being in the study is voluntary and you can stop participating at any time.
